The world is on the brink of collapse as the bioterrorist outbreak goes global, moving the action from North America to the war-torn Eastern European state of Edonia and the Chinese city of Lanshiang. This is the most ambitious Resident Evil game to date, offering four distinct yet interwoven campaigns.

Four Campaigns, Three Interwoven Stories

Experience the horror from four unique perspectives, each with its own pair of protagonists for solo or co-op play:

• Leon S. Kennedy & Helena Harper: A return to the dark, atmospheric horror of classic Resident Evil. Fight through the zombie-infested streets of Tall Oaks after a bioterrorist attack claims the life of the U.S. President.
• Chris Redfield & Piers Nivans: Dive into all-out action. Lead a BSAA squad in China against a new, deadly bioweapon – the J’avo – in a full-scale, war-torn urban environment.
• Jake Muller & Sherry Birkin: Experience a relentless pursuit. Play as Albert Wesker’s son, Jake, who holds the antibodies for the C-virus, and Sherry Birkin (from RE2), who must protect him as they are hunted by an unstoppable creature.
• Ada Wong: A solo campaign that weaves through the other three stories, uncovering secrets and conspiracies from the shadows.

Action-Oriented Gameplay

Resident Evil 6 features an evolved control system that allows for more fluid combat than ever before. For the first time, players can shoot while moving, slide, roll in any direction, and take cover. A new stamina gauge manages melee attacks, allowing for brutal finishing moves and dynamic hand-to-hand combat against the C-virus’s deadly mutations.
